Are there any really good seafood restaurants in Denver?

McCommick's in the Oxford Hotel has 8-12 varieties of oysters, excellent fresh catch specials and a lovely atomsphere. We have made this our dining choice for most theatre/music events when in downtown Denver. I've attached the link AND if you have time, I recommend taking a short one block walk to the west to the Union Train Station. It is a must see historical and architectural site. My husband and I were married on the Amtrak train in the Moffitt Tunnel in 1996...just a little biased! Seafood Restaurant Denver - McCormick's Fish House & Bar ...

I really enjoy Jax Fish House downtown at 1539 17th Street. If you like sushi...also try Sushi Sasa at 2401 15th Street #80 in Denver. Great sushi and good seafood dishes also. And, if you plan on cooking seafood yourself - the Seafood Landing in the Highlands has the BEST seafood in town: 3457 W 32nd Ave. He is closed on Mondays.

One of the best we found, was referred to me by a friend, it is the Cherry Crest Seafood Restuarant and Market in Littleton in the 5900 block of S. University. It's located in a small strip mall and is a casual dining environment. Similar to the type of seafood restuarant and markets you would find on the Golf Coast of Florida, the seafood is delicious.

Ocean Prime down on Larimer Street will satisfy you for both seafood and beef. If you want to travel a bit out of the city, try the Chart House in Genesee
