"Beuatiful Winding Road Hugging the Country Club"
This is a beautiful winding road that horshoes around the Orinda Country Club before winding up into residential streets and ending on Miner Road. The houses here are large and beautiful, as you would expect for a road that winds around the country club. It starts just off of the main drag in Orinda Village, the central shopping area for Orinda, but this is a purely residential road.
Several smaller roads spill off from the horseshoe into minor arteries covering the hills as they flow up in the direction of the Charles Hill area at the edge of Lafayette. This is really the heart of the residential area of Orinda. It is also somewhat of the more exclusive area as well. Among the beauties of this area is Lake Cascade, with its ducks that often wander in single file by the edge of the road or paddle gently across the surface of the water. When the afternoon fog rolls down over the hills separating the Berkeley hills, the streets can get quite gloomy in the most picteresque of ways.
There are often events being held at the Country Club, so you are likely to see cars filling their parking. The country club also has both a Golf Course and Tennis Courts. It is the place to be if you can afford it, as many residents of this area can.
