"Columbus Square is the Best Part of the Street"
Just like with East 188th Street, East 189th Street has one great park at the corner of Loriilard Place, E. 189th Street, Bathgate Avenue, and East 188th Street. In fact, the park meets up with each one of these streets.
From seeing the area myself, I would say it is the best part of the area. The place is nearly packed with kids, especially at night and on the weekends.

"East 189th Street"
You’ll find a lot of things nearby this street, but nothing but housing on it. I think that this is a nice street, but is one of those that may or may not be considered in “New York City”. As you may know, Manhattan and 5 boroughs encompass the massive expanse known as NYC, but there are some streets that are borderlines. This could be considered one of them, as the quality of life and many other things shift in this neighborhood.
