East Bloomfield Rd
"Only if you were lucky to get a home here"
I visted this street years ago when I was young. I mean when this devlopment started, and it was so nice. Few years ago I went down memory lane and I thought to myself it would of been the perfect palce to start my family, but I didnt. I was hoping to get my house or even one of the houses there, but now most of them are off the market. This a nice neighborhood, for example if you are coming home from along day and there are kids in the street, the kids move and wave at you to welcome home.

"Inexpensive,an "OK" place to start..."
...37th way is in a subdivision of typical desert ranch homes built in the late 60's-70's. Overall, it is probably the least expensive place you can live this close to Paradise Valley. It is pretty plain, without many home improvements.
Apparently a mechanic lives in every other house in the short section of 37th way that we live on. What I mean by that is there are WAY too many vehicles parked along the street, and WAY too many of them don't move, or constantly have a crowd of heads under the hoods on the weekend.
The few neighbors that speak at all seem to be very friendly, but it is a blue collar street and most all come home and then keep to themselves...like most evey other neighborhood, I suppose!
There is a mini mall with pub, tanning salon, music store, smoke shop, sub shop, cost cutters, rubios, and a few other stores almost directly across the street. On the other side of the street is an auto repair shop, car wash, hollywood video, convenience store and another mini mall with a womens gym, and a few other stores.
Last corner has a major grocery store (Frys, AKA Kroger) which is always surprisingly clean at any time of day or night.
Just a few streets southeast is what my teenager refers to as Nirvana. ALso kown as Paradise Valley Mall which has everything a mall needs, and best of all...I don't need to provide a constant teenage taxi service as it is so close.
I would not purchase a home on this street, but we have rented here for a short time and it has been an OK experience.
I love the monthly rent which has allowed us to save for our down payment to buy a home. I have also loved how close this street and neighborhood are to Scottsdale, and freeways. You can get anywhere in the valley from here in less than 30 minutes.
