"Older area, family friendly neighborhood"
East Enid Avenue has 1970’s and 80’s style homes, and is located alongside Silvergate Park. A second park, Reed Park is within walking distance. This is defiantly a “family friendly” neighborhood. There is a mix of old and young residence, most of the people here are of Hispanic and other ethnic backgrounds. Enid Ave. is near two churches, and a block from a public elementary school. Also adjoining the street is a shopping center. Shopping center major stores include a Target, Jo-Ann’s Crafts, and Firestone, as well as dozens of other small shops and a gym. Located within a half mile you find a grocery store, restraints, and more shopping. Major freeway, I-60, is located about a mile and a half away.
