"If you want to live on Livingston Ave, go as far out as you can!"
East Livingston Avenue in Columbus, Ohio is a really long road that covers most, if not all, of the East side of Columbus. Starting from downtown Columbus and going east you can find anything from Resturants, Night Clubs, Tatoo Parlors and even the famous Columbus Children's Hospital.
Near the Children's Hospital is not a really safe place to live. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't live within three miles of this hospital due to the crime and drugs in this area. Further on down Livingston, about four miles from the hospital is an area known as Bexley. This area, and Whitehall, are much more safer to live in. It seems as if the further east you go, the safer the neighborhoods are.
Part of Livingston Avenue is State Route 33, which can lead you all the way out of the state. I lived on this part of Livingston Avenue where the Alum Creek River meets Livingston Avenue. Not the best of neighborhoods, but it wasn't too bad. My favorite place to eat was Mr. Hero's. If you go, get the fried mushrooms!
