East Polk St, Historic Third Ward

There is a Polk Street in San Francisco that is a very busy, flashy area with a lot of gay bars, punk rockers, et cetera. So when I drove down this Polk Street in Milwaukee I couldn't help but laugh at how different it was than the one I'm used to. This is just a boring road down through some industrial storage areas, nothing interesting about it whatsoever! But at the Western end of it is the Riverfront pizza parlor which is where we went, definitely a good restaurant. So that's the one plus-side of it - it leads to a pretty good bar.
