East Reaney Ave
"Johnson Parkway a way out of the East Side!"
Johnson Parkway is 2 blocks from the street I live on. It ends or begins at Lake Phalen, which is a lovely lake to jog around, as long as you do so during the daylight hours! Johnson Parkway is a tree lined parkway, that is generally pretty busy.
The houses on it are older and not the best kept houses, with no street parking in front. I would not want to raise my family on Johnson Parkway, it is far too busy especially at night.
There is a Super America gas station on Johnson Parkway which always has a St. Paul cop hanging out at it. I also have seen many pitbulls not muzzled but generally leashed up and down the parkway.
Johnson Parkway is a good way to get to I94 as it doesn't have nearly as many lights as White Bear Ave or McKnight.
