"We'll see what happens..."
The Stadium Lofts, located on East Wright Circle, was the city of Anaheim's first attempt to turn Anaheim into a "big city". They are still on the right track, but, there is a lot of work left to turn this area into a true "downtown". There is an El Torito Grill, Subway, Juice it Up and a Kelly’s coffee shop at the base of Stadium Lofts. A few other apartment complexes have sprung up with restaurants built into their base and the long awaited A-Town on Katella has promised to be a little city within itself.
If you are a sports nut, you are in the right area! Angel Stadium is literally right across the street from you and the Honda Center is a little bit down Katella. The Grove of Anaheim is also across the street. During the year, they hold concerts and comedy shows.
Getting out of East Wright Circle might be the hardest part of your commute as Katella and State College slow down a little during rush hour and a lot whenever there is a sporting event on. If you use the train, the station is conveniently located across Katella.
For shopping, The Block and the Orange Mall are very close, however, the nearest grocery store is a bit of a drive down State College.
This street has a lot of potential, especially if you like to be where all of the action is. However, it remains to be seen how soon they will complete A-Town, which, right now, is just a dirt pit. The only other con is that in the parking garage of Stadium Lofts, every once in a while, there is a slight sewer smell.
