Erasmus St, Flatbush / Ditmas Park

I think this area is good for raising families on a tight budget, though you lose all of the glamor of downtown living in Brooklyn. This street is in one of the more dynamic sections of Brooklyn, and with that naturally comes a lot of young people, which may not be desirable for older people or people with families. Though youthful, this street has a certain charm about it, and the housing options are great. All in all, a nice street in a fantastic neighborhood.
