"Feels like the country, but 10 minutes to downtown Redwood City"
Esther Lane is a quiet cul-de-sac, with homes of varying sizes -- some on large lots, some on small lots. Every home is different in style and size. Most of the homes have views of SF Bay, and some have panoramic views. It's a quiet street and it's not unusual to see a random chicken or deer strolling around in the morning or at dusk. It has a rural/country vibe with plenty of trees and greenery, but it's only about 15-20 minutes to 101 or 280, 10 minutes to downtown Redwood City (lots of restaurants, a big movie theater, live music venues), 15 minutes to Caltrain. There's a nice market within walking distance (probably 1/2 mile, at most) as well as a couple of casual dining options (Mexican and Pizza/Burgers). There are a few families with young children living there, as well as married couples. If you're into manicured lawns and high end landscaping, this is NOT the street for you. But if you like feeling like you're living in the "country" but still want all the city conveniences, Esther Lane might be the place for you!
