Ferry St
"Perfect downtown visiting."
Ferry Street in located in the Irounbound section of newark, New Jersey. It is just off Market Street or get right off Penn Sation and take the Ferry st Exit.
For anyone who is familiar with Newark, or who has heard of Newark in those most of the time ill informed jokes, this street will be a total surprise to you. It is full of small shops, Portuguese Jewerly Stores, Banks, Mini Markets, Bakerys and perhaps why its better know Portuguese restaurant. You can stop at a Fish store to buy the last catch, or stop to have Expressos and any variety of sweats in one of the many European Bakerys.
The street is allways full of people who are busy doing their errands or shopping, it has a family atmosphere. Although parking is a challenge many of the side streets have available parking. Ferry street is worth a visit.
