"Slightly Quieter than nearby Pacific Avenue"
Front Street is just a block away from the main drag of downtown Santa Cruz and offers slightly more manageable driving than nearby Pacific Avenue. It’s not quite as hustling and bustling as its neighbor, but does host several restaurants and coffee shops. My recommendation is to park at the Trader Joe’s/CVS lot and walk over – buy a pack of gum at CVS to validate your time there, and you’ll save yourself a lot of stress.
Like much of Santa Cruz, the stoner/hippie vibe is alive and thriving – nothing wrong with this, but be forewarned ☺
