"Suburban Street in Bustling Area"
Fulton Street is located in one of the most desirable areas to live in Silicon Valley - several blocks away from downtown Palo Alto. This comes with its perks and pitfalls alike - the homes are beautiful - and overpriced. You can walk to downtown Palo Alto - but don't even think about driving there and finding parking. The entire area is bike-friendly - which also means a higher degree of bike theft. And of course, you are right by the ever-congested University Avenue, which means you will struggle to get anywhere, but you will also learn the back roads.
If you can live with these pitfalls, the neighborhood really is gorgeous, the individuals are friendly, and there really is no better spot to be in Palo Alto than walking distance from downtown, and its abundance of restaurants, cafes, shops and nightlife. The balance of this, contained in a suburban street, is what makes Palo Alto such a desirable, expensive, traffic-heavy area (for better or for worse).
