""Very poor HOA""
This neighborhood has great potential but a very poor HOA and ammenities for a community of this size. There is a lack of venues to direct the older kids such as a basketball court, tennis court, etc. The pool is able to accomodate all of the residents if they decided to go at once or even half. There is a transitional feel to the neighborhood. The nearby school is overcrowded and trailers are the norm in the mecklenberg area. There is a couple of retail locations that provide all the basic needs without having to travel very far. There is a gem of a restaraunt located in the harris teeter shooping center called best china. The food and staff are wonderful. Reedy Creek park is nearby and a great break from the daily norm. There is also a good park off of 218 that is very nice and kid friendly and some areas to play ball. There are two disc golf courses within a few minutes drive of this community.
