Glenwick Dr
"Not my favorite place, but still good"
This street is ok. I drive through there when I visit Forth Worth, and it seems to be really quite. I like something a little closer to excitement. I know there is a mall close by, but I would prefer to have something in the neighborhood. If, however, you like a quite street, this is the place for you.

"Small Town Spirit In the Middle of the City"
Glenview Drive is actually in River Oaks, a small town surrounded by the City of Fort Worth. While River Oaks does not have great dining, nightlife or shopping, it's 15 minutes from Ridgmar Mall, one of the largest shopping malls in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, and 15 minutes from downtown Fort Worth, which is a great nightlife and dining area.
River Oaks (not to be confused with the very posh area of Houston with the same name) is a small, middle-class town that has hardly changed over the last 50 years. With a sometimes overly vigilant police force (don't even think of speeding down River Oaks Drive), River Oaks is safe, neighborly and a great place to raise children. The schools are good, and the neighborhoods are green, leafy, and clean.
I consider River Oaks one of the best-kept secrets of the area. Housing prices are reasonable, and the commute into downtown Fort Worth is easy and fast. A nice little bedroom community for those who prefer a friendly, small-town atmosphere in the middle of the big city.
