No one actually lives on Goose Island - it is a man made island surrounded by the Chicago River. It does have a great restaurant scene with some of the best dining in Chicago. My list below is just of my top restaurant picks of the area:

1. Goose Island Shrimp House
2. The Dining Room at Kendall College
3. Flaming Wok and Grill
4. Japonais Restaurant
5. Finkel's on the River
