What are the schools like in Gramercy Park, New York City?

If you have any sort of budget at all, I would highly recommend sending the kids to Private School. The NY public school system is notoriously bad. There are a number of Charter Schools popping up in the city, however, and they are much better than public and much easier on the wallet.
