How far is the Colorado National Monument from Grand Junction?

The Monument is actually within the city limits, so it's not far at all. :) You'll find the road that takes you to the Monument just off Highway 340. This area is full of camping and hiking trails, and some spots allow you to fish with a license. There are miles of wilderness in the Monument, so it's easy to get away from civilization without actually leaving Grand Junction.
