Is Colorado Mesa University a big school?

What's the student body population? Is the campus spread out?

It's quite small, with only about 8,000 students, but they do have fantastic long-distance programs. Online programs are available to students not able to attend classes on campus, and many local high schools teach CMU classes to their senior students for early college credits.
