Gulf Blvd
"The Glitz and Glam of St Pete"
Far and away the most stunning of St Pete's streets, Gulf Blvd is home to the stunning, 1920's-style Don Cesar beach hotel. It is important to mention the hotel not only because of its large presence and important tourist destination, but also because it is the very first thing you see as you drive onto Gulf Blvd from the Pinellas Bayway.
Apart from the large, pink Don Cesar hotel, Gulf Blvd is home to numerous other hotels, resorts, and restaurants. St Pete's most impressvive dining locations, like the Wine Cellar and Pub Waterfront, are along Gulf Blvd. Head south on Gulf Blvd to head towards the more deserted parts of St Pete beach. Head north for great nightlife and many, many dining choices.
Expect heavier traffic and more noise than in the rest of sleepy St Pete -- this is where you go to live it up off the sand.

Gulf Blvd
"Gulf Boulevard in Saint Petersburg, Florida"
Gulf Boulevard has always been my target street to stay on when visiting Saint Petersburg. It is in a safe neighborhood and close to all of the action. The streets is lined with hotels and inns and residences and most importantly, shops and restaurants. My favorite hotel being the Plaza Beach Resort, because it makes my beach getaway feel complete. The entire atmosphere of the hotel and its surroundings is as close to a beach paradise as you can get.

Gulf Blvd
"Number One Place To Visit In St. Pete"
Gulf Boulevard is where you want to be if you are visiting St. Petersburg! This is the street that runs through Treasure Island, and takes you to all the shops, hotels, and restaurants on Treasure Island Beach. This is truly the type of street that I’m sure people envision when they think of Florida. Driving down it is not as bad traffic-wise as you might think, but it’s also a great street to walk down to access the beach or to go shopping.
