High St Southeast, Historic Anacostia

This street has a lot of old Victorian Mansions, and is just a few minutes from the Metro. It is great to walk down the streets and look at the old homes and rambling front lawns, which are rare in such a large, sprawling city. It is just across the river from the Washington Naval Yard, and has a lot of other homes and residences surrounding it.
