"Good Restaurants"
Hubert Street in New York City is a short street, all of two blocks, that runs from the Hudson River Greenway to Saint John’s Park – neither of which are terribly green. There are some really good restaurants in the area. It is conveniently located to the city offering easy access to local subway and bus routes.

Hubert St
"Good place to call home."
Hubert Street is not action packed by any means but it is quiet and clean with some charming buildings and friendly residents. Overall it's not a place that should be visited by a tourist as their is nothing of note on it, but for a resident looking to put down roots downtown this fits the bill nicely.

"Hubert Street... Blah"
I'm kind of bored by this neighborhood... as a visitor. As an inhabitant, I think I would be please with it's accessibility and cleanliness. The street I live in Washington Heights is so loud, close to the George Washington Bridge. I can't seem to catch a break in terms of loud crash noises, buses, and honking. Down in the village, this isn't a major issue, which I like.
Hubert Street is also a wonderful place to begin your journey into the Village. It is close to the following metros: C,E at Spring Street and the 1 at Canal. It is also accessible by many buses. Foot traffic is light and I would recommend the street to just about anyone!
