Jefferson Dr Southwest, Washington Mall

Jefferson Drive, SW is a small street in front of the Smithsonian Institute. It passes in front of the Smithsonian Castle, the original building of the Smithonsian Institute. On the other side of the street is the open space of the National Mall. During the summer and on weekends there are many tourists walking around the Mall. Driving is difficult here because there is a lot of traffic and it is a small street with cars dropping people off at the museum. If you are here to see the museums you will probably cross this street. Otherwise there probably isn't a reason to go onto it.
