"Danger all around"
E 176th St & Jerome Ave, just mark this place as you don’t want to live there. The 4 train is very annoying at nigh time and it is very scary area as there is not much light. Most crimes happened there.dont even walks around there or you will be in trouble.

"Around the corner makes a difference"
E 205th between the concourse and moshulo is an interesting place. I have lived there for four yrs and seen the changes. The street is "bi-polar" during the summer children play in the street, the hydrant is open, the neighbors are drinking and grilling food on the sidewalk ahhh, and then comes the winter.. no one is really outside and the street looks a little desolate. This is a one way street so it does cause some traffic issues when people double park. The good thing is that there is a small grocery store in the middle of the street and a supermarkets a block away. Public transportation is right up the block. There are two schools nearby (3 blocks away). People on this street have the tendency to be nosy and loud and the cops constantly drive through but are not always around when you need them. P.s fourth of july and the weeks prior are very loud ...thats right expect to see fireworks outside of your window.

"It could be worse, but it could be a whole lot better."
The area is going through some revitalization, however there is a lot left to be done. It's crowded and busy and many of the residential buildings look run down. It is close to Yankee Stadium and many people use it as a way to get to the stadium adding to the already troubling traffic. Overall it is a decent enough area and offers some convenience although it doesn't offer much in the way of major shopping. The food is good, but that's about it and I wouldn't consider settling there.

"East 205th Street"
There are a few delis on this street, but not much else. This street is home to a school and several small businesses. I don’t think you’ll find much in the way of housing, food, or entertainment here, but you will find a lot in the way of a nice neighborhood. Though the South Bronx doesn’t really have the best reputation, I think there are a lot of nice streets here and think it's worth looking into.
