Is Little Village in Chicago a safe neighborhood?

Overall, Little Village is reasonably safe. It's not the best or the worst, and though it's a bit on the south side it's not exactly the horrible south side you worry about.

Yes, it's a pretty safe part of the city. It's also a charming and ethnically diverse neighborhood with a strong family presence and lots of great restaurants.
