Would you recommend the Little Village neighborhood in Chicago for singles?

Little Village isn't bad for singles. It's safe enough and close to the heart of the city. It is definitely trying to become more of a family-friendly neighborhood though.

Little Village has recently become a fast growing area for young families in search of nice affordable homes. Because of this I would say it is more suited to families then singles.
