"MADISON ST 1979- 1980"
Back in 1979 i started working on Madison st between Jefferson and Madison st back then and things was good i was working for NYC Dept of Parks in the Little Flower Playground i use to like the area back then they had a pizza shop on the corner which is now a drug store, they had a burger joint near the train station, i met some nice people back in those days, i know a lot changed since then but those was good days for me.
Pros
- They have a hospital near by

Madison St
"On Madison Street"
Madison Street isn’t much of anything. You won’t find much in the way of anything on thisNew York street. Though it wasn’t really a sight for sore eyes, this street was calm and nicely populated, and I didn’t feel that I could make a home here, though there isn’t much in the way of food and exciting things to do. You’ll have to go to the next street for that kind of fun.

Madison St
"Wait, There's Another Madison?"
Though this Madison may not have the prestige of the Avenue which shares its name, it is filled with some great places to eat and some really great boutiques. I was pleasantly surprised on my stroll there last night to find so many excellent places to shop and to eat! To name a view, McDonalds, Crown Pizza, and Madison Restaraunt.
Ok, I was being facetious. This is your typical street in Brooklyn. Housing, some places to grab a quick bite, and nothing too snazzy. Sorry to disappoint, but the magic of Mad Ave cannot be duplicated!!

Madison St
"This is NOT a great street"
A short street located near the end of Manhattan has really nothing to offer in terms of entertainment. I found the surrounding streets to be of more interest, though I feel that at times, this street could have its advantage, of being close to other things nearly. It is not all that easily accessible, so if you’re in a family with small children it may not be all that convenient for you.
Madison St
"Fashion Street of NYC"
Madison Avenue is the ultimate place for shopping. I went nuts looking at all the clothing stores and jewelers nest from all top brands placed at the street. Also the Luxurious Hotels with excellent services adds to the glamorous street. I also visited the Carnegie Hill awesome place for an afternoon stroll, nice leisurely lunch and start for your unique shopping.
