West Portal Ave
"Get on a fun spree"
W Portal avenue begins from the 14th avenue and crosses the !5th avenue at one of its points. It is quite a long and tiring street but travassing this street is simpler by taking the Muni metro that runs through the W Portal avenue. W Portal avenue is a shoppers paradise. You will find a whole a lot of stores here. If you get tired after shopping the next spot you must visit is the ‘Café For all reasons’ . Absolutely good variety of food is served in here not to forget the chicken picatta. This street guarantees your fun and enjoyment along this street.

Sloat Blvd
"Humid and pleasant place"
Skyline Boulevard also known as State Route 35 has one of its joints at the Great highway. It has a humid climate being close to the Pacific Ocean. There is much of activity along this street that could keep yo active and busy. There is a lake beside Skyline Boulevard called the Mercede. You can get into some sporty mood and play some golf or invite someone for a tennis match. Skyline Boulevard also has some creeks. One of the famous ones is the redwood creek.. The view of lake mercede is so enchanting that you feel tempted to stay there for long. Restaurants not many, but few offering excellent food are located along this street.

Kearny St
"Enjoyable place to be"
Kearny street at one of its points touches the Embarcadero which is also a famous street in San Francisco. Originally Kearny had a Spanish name but it was later changed to Kearny, I don’t know why. It has some of the four star boutique hotels and reasonable gourmet restaurants. The hotels here offer cheap accommodation with pleasant service to its every customer. Cho Cho restaurant was a nice one specially the spinach salad. And amazingly the prices were quite low.

When you enter the street you will find largest rainbow colored flag flying over San Francisco at the foot of the Castro Street. I have been told that this flag represents gay pride. There is a majority of gay population living in this area. The main sight of attraction for the Castro area is the Castro Theater.

Stanton St
"BlueStockings on Stanton Street"
My magnet on Stanton Street is the BlueStockings Radical Book store and believe me it is every bit what the name suggests. This place gives me a fresh breath of life with its 6000 titles of the beaten track books. Its cafe and activist center help put into action new ideas in our seemingly well planned world.
Stanton street does have many other lovely sites like the Stanton St. Shul, the Vegan food store and the The M'Finda Kalunga community garden.
This is place that has to be on everyone's must visit list.

Peretz Sq
"Historical Houston Street"
The street name Houston confuses many people from outside of New York this is because Houston Street was named for William Houstoun, long before the fame of Sam Houston, for whom the city in Texas is named. But there are sign boards given on this street which makes people travel easily, Just next to the street there is one hotel which is very famous for good and delicious food. Head off a little ways to Pianos and listen to some great local bands.
