Marine Pkwy
"On Marine Parkway"
Marine Parkway, located near the Brooklyn Marine Park is a nice street. This street is a prime place in Brooklyn to live. This neighborhood was also fairly lively and filled with activity, a wonderful place for a young couple or someone new to the city entirely. Living in Brooklyn definitely has its perks, and this neighborhood is really part of the reasoning behind it. It’s easily accessed by buses, though having a car here might be the best thing for someone with a family. All in all, a nice street in Brooklyn.

"Nice little street"
Marine parkway is a short street, it is only 4 blocks long. I would say its biggest drawback is that it is just over a mile to the nearest train station and there is only one station that is convenient to it. On the other hand it is a nice residential street that is fairly quite, considering the location, and it is very near marine park which is one end of the street. There is a golf course there and some trails through marshy grass lands, so you occasionally see some interesting birds.

"Residential gateway to the park"
Marine Parkway runs from Nostrand Ave to Fillmore Ave at the entrance to Marine Park, about a 5-block distance. It's a fairly quiet residential street, and the main reason to be here is to be on your way to the park. Marine Park is a terrific Brooklyn park, with a smaller section including playgrounds, basketball courts, tracks for walking/running/cycling, and ballfields, and then a larger section with a nature preserve and trails through the marshlands where you can often see and hear endangered birds. I grew up less than a mile away and have many happy memories of my whole family walking or biking down Marine Parkway to the park for after-dinner play in the summertime.
