"A fine suburban street."
Maywood Drive South in Fresno, California is a nice little street in a wavy suburb in the central part of town, just south of a school, and north east of the Mayfair shopping center. It is also north of one of those pits of water where you know there’s something bad in it, but you’re not sure what it is. However, the neighborhood is one of the most friendly and traditionally neighborly places I have ever been. Children play in the street and neighbors say hello, and chat about school and work and the kids. It’s a good place to live.
