Great mixture of people, young and old. Used to be families with kids - now empty nesters, but now lots of young couples (with and without kids are moving in). The former mayor of the town lives on the street so you know things get taken care of here. People are very friendly, but not overbearing. Close to Upper Montclair town center (5 min), the great restaurants of Montclair (10 min) and the hustle and bustle of Routes 3 and 46 (5 min). All the malls your heart will desire (5 of them!) within 20 minutes in any direction. Close access to the NJ Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. Best of all, there is both the train and the bus to NYC within walking distance. A plethora of parks within walking and 5 min driving distance.
