"A safe haven- NOT!"
Memorial Drive is a loooong street. I mean it runs forever, connecting Atlanta all the way down 'til Decatur where it's greater. Memorial Drive is probably called just that because theu have stips malls galore, soul food and ethnic restaurants and every hair, nail and barber shop you can think of! You can never say that you could not find a place to eat and get your hair 'did all in the same trip.
Now don't get me wrong, eventhough it has some cool places to spend money, its not to say that maybe you should just move right on in. Memorial Drive is not the safest place to raise your kids. There is a police precinct right on Memorial and Interstate 78 for that reason! So be careful, especially when catching the train at the local station.

"Memorial Drive Atlanta"
Memorial drive is a little bit safer, but not much. They do have plenty of dining facilities. I know someone who visited there one time and around 4 am he saw a car jump the median of the raod and the car landed in the parking lot. He didn't see anyone in the car. Come to find out the person in the car was shot while using a pay phone on the road. He didn't know the person that shot him. Just a robbery. I advise everyone to stay away from there.
