Yes. Merced Manor is not just a good place to live for families with kids, but a great place. Really beautiful area with great schools. You are close enough to the city to make it there in 15 minutes flat but far enough away where you don't feel like you are in the middle of all the hassles.

You're close to the zoo and the beach and have lots of parks in the area too. Fog of course is a bit relentless, but you can't have everything.
