"Standard Palo Alto Suburban Neighborhood"
Middlefield Road is a green, leafy street that runs perpendicular to University Drive, Embarcadero, and the Oregon Expressway. It serves as somewhat of an easy access to these three major streets, certainly more manageable than either the 101 or El Camino Real. I wouldn't recommend this as the best suburban street for buyers who have children, primarily because it still has fairly heavily traffic and serves as spillover parking for downtown Palo Alto. However, it is very accessible to downtown and could be a fun place to live for that reason alone. Like much of Palo Alto, it is not cheap.
