"Safest, Family/Kid Friendly neighborhood in the entire County"
Of all the places I've ever lived (three places in Indiana, two places in Texas, one place in South Carolina, three places in Florida, and two places in Tennessee), this is the best, safest, and friendlienss street/neighborhood I've ever lived on. All the neighbors know each other well and watch out for each other. All roads in this neighborhood dead end into cul-de-sacs, so there is no through traffic.
This Cost of living in this are is excellent. The Utility bills are some of the lowest I've had to deal with. The schools for this neighborhood are the top in the County as well as surrounding Counties. This is the only neighborhood where you can purchase a house for $200K or less and get into these schools. All the other neighborhoods where the kids go to these schools, the cheapest house will run you $400K plus.
If you love the country feel 4 miles from the center of town, this is the place for you. The closest and best Supermarket to shop at is right at 1 mile. The marina is less than half a mile. Numerous places to eat within 2 miles, and again you are only 4 miles from the main drag with a lot more places to choose from. Access to Interstate 26 is only 2 miles.
In Summary, this area offers safety, best schools, friendly/caring neighbors, clean, no through traffic, peace & quiet, country feel yet very convenient to town/major transportation routes, and convenient to many outdoor activities.
