"Mostly on a slant. Close to Glen Park Restaurants"
Moffitt Street is pretty much a killer hill. It's at least at a 20 degree angle. So, if you want to live there, keep in mind that you must enjoy walking up hills. Overall, the neighborhood is fairly unfriendly with a fair amount of low income housing. The street (and neighborhood) became increasingly shady as I lived there. My car was broken into and a backup check I kept in my glove box was deposited fraudulently.
The upside to all of this is that there are several close by restaurants that I am now sad that I do not live by. One of those is Pet't Laurent, a wonderful French bistro. Another is Tyger's diner, perfect for breakfast. Both of these are in the main section of Glen Park, which is likely one of the last secluded places in SF.
