"The Heart of Toledo"
If I had to choose, I would say that Monroe Street is the heart of Toledo. Monroe heads from downtown, all the way over to the shopping district. Monroe street boasts The Westfield Park Mall among hundreds of other shopping centers and tons of restaurants (both fast food and delicious sit down). Some areas between the Mall and downtown are slightly frightening, but nothing one can get past. Monroe St. also hosts the Toledo Museum of Art. Living on Monroe street, I have found it pleasant and safe. Living here gives you an easy and quick way to get to the most productive parts of Toledo
