The Near South Side is pretty walkable overall. There are certainly plenty of options for public transportation, and you can find a lot of places to eat or get a drink within a reasonable walking distance.

Yes, it is an extremely walkable neighborhood. You can easily get around on foot or via public transportation in the Near South Side.
