"Quiet and Affordable, Westminster Court is Unique"
Westminster Court is an essential part of the Westheight Manor National Registered Historic District. It's known locally as Westminster Court, although the P.O. street name is Nebraska Court, and is situated one block north of State Avenue, west of 24th Street in Kansas City, Ks.
The court consists of five detached single-family houses and four townhomes, all built in the English Garden City style. It is the only example of the style in the metropolitan Kansas City area. And, although it's just off the very busy main thoroughfare of State Avenue, it is very quiet.
Neighborhood public schools consist of Mark Twain Elementary, a half-block away, and Wyandotte High School, a block away. Neighborhood private schools are also nearby, within a half-mile: St. Peters Elementary and Bishop Ward High School, and are run by the Kansas City KS Catholic Church Diocese.
This block is very neighborly, with folks frequently visiting and helping each other out.
I really like living here.
