How do you rate the Golf Clubs in the New Rochelle area?
I do not play golf, and so I can't comment personally. I do know that the Wykagyl Country Club (located off North Avenue) has hosted many major tournaments over the years, and membership is by invitation only. The Bonnie Briar Country Club is located in Larchmont, but on the border of Scarsdale and New Rochelle ( Weaver Street near Quaker Ridge Road) and offers a 18 hole golf course, and is not by invitation only. I have spent many fun evenings as guests at the Leewood Golf Club in Eastchester which offers golf, country club and social memberships. On Eastchester, Lake Isle was a former private club but is now open to all, and offers, golf, tennis and pool memberships. I can't forget the famed Winged Foot Golf Club located on Fenimore Road and is by invitation only. How do you rank these clubs? How do you rank the Hampshire Country Club (Mamaroneck) and the Quaker Ridge Golf Club (Scarsdael)?
