"The Heart of New Orleans!"
There is a meat market/liquor store on the corner of North Rocheblave Street and Ursulines. It has plenty of delicious, inexpensive meats such as liver, bacon, pork chops, pigs feet, thigh quarters and Patton sausag plus all the beer you can drink. Many people around here are on fixed-income though some work full-time jobs plus a lagniappe job on the side. There are many pick up football games and basketball games in the street. It is technically illegal to play basketball in the streets of New Orleans but the police refuse to enforce this law in the Treme-Lafitte neighborhood. It is a good neighborhood if you like to live in the heart of New Orleans in a historic, eclectic neighborhood. Its convenient to I-10, the FQ and City Park.
