North Wilson Rd
"Far West Side, Best Place to Shop and Play"
North Wilson Road, located on the far end of Columbus' west side is strapped with things to do, places to shop and resturants to eat at. At the intersection of Wilson Road and Broad Street (an eight lane intersection) there is TONS of things to do. There are shopping store galore, my favorite would have to be Shottenstein's Department Store. I went there every year growing up to get my school clothes for school. Chuck E Cheese's is also located at this intersection. I went to this CEC's as a kid, and now I take my kids there.
If you travel further south on Wilson Road, there is another shopping center, not as big as the one on Broad Street, but it still has a grocery store and Papa John's - my favorite pizza place. There used to be a Cub Foods grocery store, but they went out of business and now there is a Kroger's Grocery store there.
Overall, it's not a very good place to live, I can only think of one apartment complex in the area. It does have a great outlet to Interstate 70 (with a large truck stop here for truckers), but this area is mostly used for shopping and entertainment.
