1. City Center- 500 12th St, Oakland, CA 94607
City Center in Oakland is a fantastic shopping center in the Oakland area near Bakersfield, with a good selection of stores perfect for a varied shopping day. Beautiful and scenic, this is a great place to shop and take in the feel of California. http://www.oaklandcitycenter.com/
2. Jack London Square- 311 Broadway Ave, Oakland, CA 94607.2Jack London Square is a terrific embodiment of the Oakland shopping scene. 3. Chinatown- Chinatown is a wonderful place to find Asian merchandise, food, and culture.
4. College Avenue/Rockridge District- College Avenue is a hub of youth culture in Oakland, with fantastically eclectic shopping, not to mention a massive amount of restaraunts and cute bodegas.

5. Fruitvale District- The Fruitvale District is the location to taste the Latin culture that is a major part of the larger Califronia society. Wtih terrific stores as well as delicous diners, this is a wonderful place to practice Spanish and enjoy Oakland.
6. Grand Avenue/Lakeshore Avenue- Grand Avenue and Lakeshore Avenue is a popular nieghborhood, not only known for its terrific real estate, but also its fantastic selection of independently owned shops and stores filled with goodies for every member of the family.
7. Montclair Village- Montclair Village is a wonderufl shopping area and neighborhod in a beautiful setting, with a massive amount of shopping, dining, and entertainment.
