"awesome nice neighborhood"
hey its me again and this is my old "hood". It's where I used to have everyday fun, Spent a lot of birthdays here, A lot of my holidays at, and shared good memories with a few friends that still live there. But since this is a review and not memory lane lets get straight to the review. Well what i can say is its very peaceful, never any traffic (the reason for that is the streets a very fluent and its a residential area). Its within distance of Beale park. Not the biggest park in the world but great place to have a birthday party and walk your dog or just go and relax. when i lived here i was 9yrs old so I didn't have any idea on re-sale value or property value I gotta figure its very expensive as of 2008.

Oleander Ave
"Beautiful Older Neighborhood"
Oleander is one of the oldest areas of Bakersfield and has some of the most character. I've driven down this street numerous times just looking at all the beautiful houses. Beale Park is also quite wonderful. This feels like a street that would be awesome to grow up on, let alone just to live on.
Bakersfield High School, the oldest high school in town, is right at the end, so it's easy to get a some Driller football spirit going.
This street seems nice and calm, right in the heart of Bakersfield's finest neighborhood.
