"Secluded location"
Most people do not even know Pacific Avenue exists, which is great because as it is also a dead end street, you do not get a lot of traffic noise. What is even better is that on the other side of the street from you is a cliff that overlooks the ocean - if you are lucky enough to be on the "right" side of the street, you have an amazing view.
Although Pacific Avenue falls in the city of Costa Mesa, you would swear you were in Huntington Beach; it is that close. If you take Victoria Street to Brookhurst, you will be at the beach in five minutes. Even better, take your bike and enjoy the beautiful coastal weather. Just beware – you have to take your bike back up the Victoria Hill on your way home! You can easily shop in Huntington, too, and take advantage of the Vons or Albertsons, both on nearby Atlanta, or head the opposite way on Victoria to Triangle Square.
For cons, traffic does back up a little on Victoria during the summer seasons, so, occasionally, it is a pain to get out of Pacific. Also, Wilson Street, which ends on one end on Pacific Avenue has a bit of a reputation as being "ghetto". Pacific Avenue is safe, but, keep your vehicles locked and remain alert.
