"Avoid the Palmetto if you can"
This is the most dangerous highway I have ever traveled on. People actually stop their cars in the middle of the road for no apparent reason. There are always accidents on the Palmetto and it is always backed up for miles. Unfortunately, the Palmetto cuts through the heart of Miami-Dade County, connecting east to west and north to south. The Palmetto goes to the airport, but there are many alternative routes. I would suggest Ludlum Road or Douglas Road.

"Simply the worst!"
Since coming to Miami, SR 826 has been one of my biggest nightmares. In the five years that I have been here it has always been under some form of construction and I've heard from locals that it has been under construction since they have been alive. It is notorious for accidents and ridiculous traffic. If you want to go north and south sometimes the city streets will get you there much faster than the 825 will. Not to mentions that all the exits fill up in the morning making a 5 mile trip take well over an hour. This thing either needs more lanes or a 2nd highway on top of it to make it effective.
