Pearl St, Capitol Hill

This part of Denver is very old, and very pretty. There are a lot of old mansions which have been converted into walk-up apartments. There are also some interesting shops and stores in the area of Pearl Street, and it is within walking distance of the Capitol Building downtown. The area can be very pretty, but it also has a lot of crime. There are a lot of homeless people in the area, as well as the Denver City Jail closeby, which makes it not the greatest place to be alone at night, but beautiful during the daylight hours!
