Is Pilsen in Chicago a safe neighborhood?

I don't really trust Pilsen. I've never run into a problem personally, but there's enough crime around that you hear about to make me extra careful. Keep a watchful eye out.

Parts of the Pilsen neighborhood do have a higher crime rate than the rest of the city, but there are many parts of the neighborhood that are perfectly safe.
