"Pine Street - Prime downtown living"

Pine Street runs parallel to Pearl Street, just two blocks north. It runs from the base of the foothills in the West to 28th street on the East. I have rented houses at 14th and Pine and at 25th and Pine for college students, so there are many options for students along Pine if they prefer a quieter location that is still easy walking/biking distance to CU and Pearl. Rent is about $700 per room in one of the historical homes that have not been renovated at all. West of Broadway (at 12th and Pine) the houses are all gorgeously restored Victorian homes and certainly one of the most beautiful streets in Boulder at a premium price. I love the old churches and hotels that are on Pine in the 12th to 14th blocks.
Pros
  • centrally located
  • walking distance to downtown
  • Whittier Elementary
Cons
  • expensive real estate
  • parking and traffic on Pine

"Pine Street has the Mork & Mindy house:)"

Pine Street is one of the main "backstreets" in Boulder and connects traffic from the east of Boulder to downtown. The street is nice and wide and has some rotaries when it nears the pedestrian downtown part of Pearl Street, Pine runs parallel just two streets over from Pearl Street.

There are a lot of great homes on Pine, the Mork & Mindy house is on Pine around 16th I think it is. The grey victorian looking house is one of many unique homes on Pine. The streets running off of Pine are amazing locations but the price tags show it. This area of Boulder is one of the more expensive!

The convenience of walking downtown and Whittier Elementary school are probably the two best qualities of Pine Street and it surrounding neighborhood. Whittier school is the oldest continuously ran school in Colorado, my daughter went there through 5th.

HeatherS I am pretty sure that they just used the outside of the house in the intro and transition scenes in the episodes, I love that show:) The rest of LA studio

"Great place to buy beautiful downtown boulder homes."

Pine Street was one of the more beautiful suburban/city home sectors in the downtown area. A large part of Pine Street is located on the northern strip of the heart of the downtown Boulder area. When I visited Boulder and drove by Pine Street I noticed that all of the houses were both gorgeous and also located in a prime Boulder area. If you are looking for a great living location in the greater Boulder area, I would highly recommend looking up and down Pine Street. You are within walking distance of great variety of shops and dinning spots. The atmosphere is great and the houses may be a little expensive, but you can certainly find something that fits your budget.
